Some trails are still very much in development, however changes and improvements are being made at every corner and almost ever day! Like this website, the bike trails will be upgraded at every turn and every opportunity.

Start your pedaling adventure here in beautiful South Grenville, the township of the 1000 Islands! Currently our bike trails are limited to paved shoulders and sharing the county roads with the occasional vehicle. Fortunately most of the local roads in our area, with the exception of highway 401, are secondary roads. Our country roads have limited traffic and our share of safe bike-conscious drivers. And the residents are friendly and always willing to point you in the right direction or suggest a good place to stay or eat if you forgot to print out the information on this website!

One of the many areas to pedal is on the waterfront along County Road #2 from Brockville to Morrisburg. You can enjoy excellent water views throughout your journey, sometimes only a few feet from the water. There are many beautiful parks and recreation areas along the way as well as a multitude of historical sites, museums, shopping, restaurants and some of the best and affordable accommodation in the 1000 Islands. Or head north to many picturesque towns such as Smith Falls and Merrickville. You will see acres of beautiful gardens, farmland and century old buildings.
